Okay, so here's my story: I'm Jessica, a pediatric nurse and mom of three who bought my first air fryer on Black Friday 2020 after my middle child was diagnosed with high cholesterol at just 10 years old. As a nurse, I knew we needed to change how our family ate, but with 12-hour hospital shifts and three kids in travel soccer, finding time felt impossible. Four years later, I'm known as the "Air Fryer Mom" in my friend group – the one who somehow makes vegetables that teenagers actually request. My Indian heritage meets Midwest practicality in every recipe I create, always with an eye on nutrition (once a nurse, always a nurse!) and what busy families actually have time to make. I won't pretend my kitchen is Instagram-perfect or that my kids always eat their vegetables. But I've found real, doable solutions for feeding active families healthy meals, even when life is chaos. Between soccer tournaments, hospital shifts, and homework help, I'm here to share what actually works – because fed is best, but protein-fed is even better!

Hi, I’m Sarah! I’m a certified nutritionist based in Austin, Texas, who discovered the magic of air fryer cooking three years ago while helping a client who challenged me to make healthy food that actually tasted good. After my first perfectly crispy (but not fried!) chicken breast, I was hooked.
With 8 years in nutrition counseling and over 400 air fryer recipes tested, I’m here to show you that eating healthy doesn’t mean sacrificing flavor. When I’m not experimenting in my kitchen (where my three air fryers live permanently on the counter), you’ll find me meal prepping to true crime podcasts or trying to get a decent food photo before my golden retriever Max starts begging.
I believe in real food for real people – no perfection required. My kitchen is usually messy, I drink way too much coffee, and yes, I’ve definitely burnt my share of chicken breasts before mastering the perfect technique. Let’s make healthy eating actually enjoyable together!
